Failcast often discusses the downturn in the quality of the Community Blogs, but it's rare that you give suggestions for aspiring bloggers to use a springboard to start off their Destructoid blogging career.
Are there any particular things you'd like to see come out of the community blogs? More editorials? More reviews? I'm curious to hear the thoughts of Failcast on this issue.
Bonus Question: Why do you think the majority of people new to Destructoid don't put the time and effort into making their blogs presentable to their readership?
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Also, you see two potions. One gives you a giant penis at the cost for only living 24 hours longer after you drink it. The other grants you immortality, but also the inablity to orgasm. Which do you drink?
I would personally love to see more reviews, maybe an editorial about a particular character in a game one adores, or thoughts on Bioshock's philosophy and how it is played out throughout the game.
More stuff like that.

I recently left my guild after being completely screwed over by the officers. I kind of want to get back at them by saving myself to their 25-man heroic TOC and wasting all 50 of their attempts. Should I let vengeance dictate my actions? Or should I just "move on" peacefully?

Anyone else hate seeing a sea of "review" blogs, that don't offer much in the way of interesting, thought provoking content? Or 1 paragraph blogs that link news or trailers that have been posted and reposted? Is there a good way to rid the c-blogs of such empty content or do you think we're stuck with the way it is now?

Also, hypothetical scenario: Suppose Modern Warfare 2's citizen killing level did indeed place the player in the role of an actual terrorist (this doesn't really jive with the actual level at all, but for the sake of argument let's pretend it does,)and was supposed to be very meta, and demonstrate the true horror and costs of warfare to the player, by putting them in the shoes of the true evil it breeds, sort of like Edmund. Would it still be crossing a taboo line even though it's using this horrible situation for valid narrative goal, like Six Day's in Fallujah, or is this a boundary we have to push if we want to truly increase the scope of material game's can cover?

Seconding Krow's question about what you want to see in the cblogs. At the risk of sounding like I'm complaining, sometimes I do post stuff that I think is different, and it'll get like one comment, while "My Review: New Game X" gets 20. I don't judge success by the number of comments (that is the route to madness), but I get the impression that a lot of Dtoid readers actually prefer those kinds of standard blogs.
