Also the first FMA pretty loosely followed the manga at all, and I liked it all the way through. BUT I do prefer the new series much more to the origina; The story, characters, etc. all aspects are better IMO.
No idea what happened with my voice, since my mic is fine, but we did have some random connection issues throughout the recording, so that's probably what caused it to sound sucky.
