It is the dawn of a new era: the start of not only a new presidency in America, but the new season of Failcast! Our guest tonight is
Rorschach, known in some circles as a vicious Republican bastard. So, with this hopeful change of hope, we beseech you, dear nation of Destructoid, ask us some questions for tonight's show!
In before "Necros, how do you feel about a black man in the White House?"
Yashoki: I have difficulties staying up during "important" things like class, business meetings, and WoW raids. Given that you are somehow able to stay seemingly awake and alert during late-night Failcast recordings, I figure that you have clearly developed some special tricks and/or techniques in order to overcome the sleepiness that your Mexican heritage has given you. Please share your secrets with me so that I can be saved from waking up either drowning in a puddle of drool or with an angry professor glaring at me.
Necros: There are a few occasions when I fantasize about what it would be like to be white. In my feeble calculus-dy/dx-physics-E=mc^2-corroded mind, I can only imagine it being like waking up as the Silver Surfer: naked and rippling with muscules and a power level over 9000 (in other words not the one from the crappy NES game). So until I find my way into White Heaven with Ronald Reagan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=It602FknBmk), I am curious as to what it is like to be white? What is the most awesome part about being white? What is the worst?
king3vbo: What class, level, and race is your WoW character? What do you think of "Wrath of the Lich King?" I know I am having a really positive experience with the new expansion thus far and I wonder if the same is true of what appears to be the only other person on Dtoid that plays and loves the WoW. Also, is it just me or is WoW reflective of society in that sooner or later, you "learn" racism? I know that after years of getting ganked by Alliance despite attempts at peace, I would love to see gnomes, night elves, dwarves, draenei, and humans in a concentration camp. Err...did I say concentration camp? I mean a happy camp. Yes, a happy camp.
charliesuh: Being that you are a fellow Asian, I am just going to assume that you are familiar with anime. Anime seems to be bigger than it ever has been in the U.S., largely due to the success of shows like "Bleach," "Death Note," and "Naruto." I remember the moment when it really hit me in the face how big anime had gotten in the United States. I was recently walking in the streets of New York City when ahead of me were two really thugged out black kids that were making a huge scene and arguing very loudly with each other. As I walked past them and actually managed to hear what they were saying, I realized that the two kids were simply arguing over who the coolest Naruto character was. So my question is: when did you realize that anime was no longer the secret thing that only Asians and a subsect of science fiction fans knew about.
As for my question, Eoin Colifer to write a new book in Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy series; facepalm or Ridley facepalm?
When will failcast see it? :|
Would you guys have voted for Barack Obama if you knew he was black beforehand? Because, honestly, I just found out. That shit is outrageous.
What's the official Failcast alcoholic beverage of choice?
