I'll try and keep this simple. I'm currently in my first year of grad school at Illinois State University going for my masters in Exercise Physiology. I recently graduated from Millikin University (bonus points to anyone who knows where that is). Aside from video games my other hobbies are running, ultimate frisbee, music, and putting off what I'm supposed to be doing.

Finally...A Wii lightsaber game

Apparently the game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is now coming to the Wii. The wiimote will be used for the lightsaber of course while the nunchuck will be used for force powers. All I can say is HELL YES!!

Ever since the announcement of the Wii one of the first games everyone wanted to see was a lightsaber game. Hopefully the fine folks at Lucasarts can pull this off.

I actually don't know how I feel about this. Actual sword movements take quite a bit of swinging around (I took 3 years of Shinkendo; I'm a huge dork)...I don't see how it could be replicated accurately on the Wii. I played some other sword swinging game in an arcade and it was terrible; you were limited to these really tiny baby strokes so that the sensor could capture everything. If the Wii is capable of reading big, broad sword movements, then this will be sweet. If you're limited to holding the stick in front of you and always pointing at the screen, I think it'll probably be pretty lame.
