And I think to myself, there are plenty of others here on D-Toid that do the same. I thought, wouldn't it be nice to share some sophisticated drink recipes with fellow adults?

12 Gauge Shottie



I thought since its Friday and I'm not in the mood to measure or pour much of anything tonight, I'd put up yet another easy recipe. Its pretty delicious and will provide some entertainment for your guests if they do it wrong.

The basic recipe is:

9 Oz Your Favorite Lager (like Corona)
3 Oz Lemon Rum (Bacardi Limon works great)

Open your beer...take a few drinks until the liquid level is just below the bottom of the lowest part of the neck. Then take your bottle of rum and pour it into the beer bottle until the neck is full with the rum. Put your finger over the top (tightly, I can't stress this enough) give it A (single) shake then proceed to drink up.

The drink should look something like this when finished.


It'll look just like a beer, what'd you expect?

There you have it, A 12 Gauge Shottie, get it?!? Depending on your tolerance for carbonation, take it easy with these, also, take it easy on the rum after your first two, the last thing you need is alcohol poisoning. As always have something to eat before imbibing.
