Hey Destructoid, it's your resident Wierd Kid Excremento.
Many of my closest Dtoid people have already seen some of these pictures, but there are many of you that aren't on my facebook or aren't regular IRC people, so I thought I'd share with you the newest member of my family and the only thing that I love more than
Secret of Mana, my daughter Kaebrie.
She's almost 2 months old now and is doing great. Everyday when I'm at work, I long to be with my family and to spend time with this amazing little girl that has stolen my heart. In this next picture you'll see her sitting in her carseat wearing her Halloween costume (she's a kitty!). We took her trick or treating with some friends, had a good time, and got to keep all the candy!
I won't lie to you guys, having a kid is a lot of work. Sure the act of making one is simple, and enjoyable, the amount of time you sacrifice after she gets here is staggering. In the last 2 months, I've probably spent less than 4 hours total playing games. I'm sure that as she gets older we'll have time to bond over the NES, but as it stands, it's all about her. It isn't that bad though, the time I sacrifice doing what I want allows more time with her and will help cement the relationship that I'm sure we'll share, and why play video games when you can have a snuggle?
Would have been more awesome if your daughter was Batman driving the wienermobile.
Kaebrie's an interesting name. Where'd it come from?
