So here we have some new pics of
Mario Kart Wii, and like the title says, they're kind of fugly. At least they were when I first saw them. The size of the pictures gave away the games graphical faults easily. Of course, it's not so much that the game looks bad, but that it doesn't seem much improved, if at all, from Double Dash, a GameCube game.
Of course, graphics are not the most important thing when it comes to gaming, especially when it's a game like Mario Kart. I've complained and bitched and whined about the game and it's lack of originality, but I've recently realized that really, there aint much you can do with this game to begin with. It's already as perfect as you could really hope for. And with the recent confirmation that players will be able to utilize 4 different control schemes (Classic Controller and GC Controller FTW!!!; Also, I'm not looking for the link for proof), I'm pretty much ready to start throwing turtles at some bitchez online.
Here are the pics:
As you can see, it's still Mario Kart, like all the other pics of this game have shown us. The addition of Motorcycles (or is it Motorbikes?) and the new Trick feature, which allows you to get a speed boost for successfully landing a trick, are good enough for us gamers, I guess.
Well, I'll be there day one for this game. It's Fucking
Mario Kart. What could go wrong?
Also, am I the only one who's loving that Bullet Bill inspired motorcycle Toad is rocking in the last pic? WIN.

The Magic Box (There's plenty more pics there)
Brawl would still sell millions. I cannot tell you how many of my friends are invading my house every day to play my Jap brawl. Some of them even bought Wiis (and Zelda TP, which, amazingly, they have been loving) when i told them brawl was out March 10th in here
also, brawl isn't that sharp either. a lot of the models look all jaggy and shit (suicune being one of the worst i've seen). Strangely, Peach's legs look carefully modeled...
love the bullet bill bike but i dont see how bikes will be useful/game-changing
Also, let's consider that these are screens, not video. I'd imagine it'll look OK with component cables in 480P when it's moving.
Also you are on a roll blogging-wise my friend. You shake them out of your sleeve like there's no tomorrow. And I like what I read. No copy paste but your own thoughts. How does one do that? It takes to much time to read yours, Jimbo's and a whole lot more. Ceark is a great help but I also got work and games that need to be played.
Spamming Tomopoop some more... get me the Toad!
that doesn't sound good.
That would be a cool bonus character!
That would be awesome in Smash Bros as well.
Thanks for the pics. You think Nintendo would treat one of their flagship franchise better then this. Still looks to be the best Mario Kart ever though.
YAY!!!!!

First video on the top left.
Anyone agree?
Does need moar effects, though.
It's too bad the traditional control schemes will probably be more effective on the new one. Cuz I bet playing with motion is a blast!
Here I've been complaining about how NOBODY tries to utilize the Wii's potential in the graphics area, and it seems that not even Nintendo can be bothered to try. Meh.
