New Persona 4 Character Announced: Yukiko Amagi

Keep in mind while visiting this blog that I have never played a Persona game before. So I have no idea what all this is about. It seems Famitsu has recently featured what is apparently a new character in the upcoming Persona 4. Her name is Yukiko Amagi and her Persona is called Konohana Sakuya. Here's some pictures:

Needless to say, I don't have much to talk about here. But I know you folks out in Dtoid Nation are big fans of Persona, so I figured I'd post this. I do remember the first time I heard about Persona 3. It was quite the mindfuck, what with the idea of teenagers committing suicide during the course of the game. (That's the correct game, right?). Being a fan of JRPGs, it's a shame these games have escaped my grasp for so long, but I barely have the time or energy to finish Lost Odyssey these days. Even in my younger days, I could only afford to spend my cash on more mainstream RPGs, the one's I was sure were worth it. Couldn't take chances back then.

Anyway, what say you Dtoid? Do you like this new character? Does she fit the series look and feel? Do you even know or care? Let me know. I'm thinking of trying the older games out in the future. One day.

You should give it a play regardless of your kids age...unless you mean because of time constraint then I retract my statement.

She looks pretty cool. I kind of have mixed feelings about her Persona, if those are feathers then awesome but if they are supposed to be long flower pedals(Petals?) than lame.

Also it seems that everyone is wearing glasses it seems when they battle. Could that be replacing the Evoker?

about me

Hi,my name is Daniel, I'm 22 years old. I've been playing games for a long while now, and do consider myself a "Hardcore Gamer", if you will. I don't get to play as much as I'd like to, but I do get to play more than I probably should be, so it's a good balance these days. My two wonderful kids suck up my time and help keep me from descending into full video game addict mode.

I play them all, but truthfully it's not in an "All Consoles are Equal" sort of way. I prefer the 360, mainly because I know more people who own one, but I do play my PS3 whenever a worthy exclusive is released. The exclusives make the purchase worth it. As for the Wii, well, it gets ignored most of the time. But I pull it out from time to time, usually when a big Nintendo game is released for it.
