Hey guys, it's Dan or as everyone here knows me (including you, because you're looking at my blog), EternalDeathSlayer. Yeah, I jacked it from Grandma's Boy, eat me. Anyway, I love video games, but more importantly I also love to talk about video games, hence why I am here on Destructoid with you. I've got a wonderful little family of 2 kids and a wife and we all play games in some shape or form. My wife enjoys WoW (probably a bit too much) and playing Halo with either myself or her friends. My kids like kid stuff like Kinectimals or flash games on the PC. And me? I like almost everything. So long as a game is fun or has the ability to effect my feelings or emotions, I'm game.

I play them all, but truthfully it's not in an "All Consoles are Equal" sort of way. I prefer the 360, mainly because I know more people who own one, but I do play my PS3 whenever a worthy exclusive is released. The exclusives make the purchase worth it. As for the Wii, well, it gets ignored most of the time. But I pull it out from time to time, usually when a big Nintendo game is released for it.

I'm gonna take the lazy route on this one, it's copypasta time: In Saratoga Springs, New York, 20-year old Joshua Stetar met a 15-year old girl, who was living in Spokane, Washington, through playing Halo online over a year ago. He apparently found her address online and began sending packages and flowers to her home, all of which her parents returned. He also sent several hundred text messages to her cell phone, which forced her parents to change her number. But he managed to find her new number by “Googling” her and then drove 40 hours straight to her neighborhood. At around 9 pm on Friday, he sent a text message saying that he was driving by her house; her parents in fact saw his car pass by. Then at 9:36, he sent a message reading, “Tell the cops that I’m gonna rape you and your sister. The girl’s parents called the police, who found Stetar at a nearby motel. After interrogating him, police learned that he had actually visited Spokane earlier and drove by the girl’s house in a rented U-Haul truck, which the girl’s parents were unaware of. He also had apparently been sending numerous text messages to the girl’s cousin, who lives in Billings, Montana, over the summer, until the police called him and told him to stop. He was booked in the Spokane County Jail on one count of felony stalking, but was released on Saturday on bond. See kids, Halo is bad for you! I don't know what the fuck this guy was thinking, but he's in need of serious clinical help. This is exactly why I tell my wife not to chat with guys on Xbox Live. 99% are just trying to set up some kind of internet relationship with her, as if they're going to fly in from Canada and meet her! Well, that's what the moron who messaged her the other night said. He was apparently turned on by how owned he got by her in Halo 3. The message was hilarious. I've even saved it for future lulz when her friends are around. I'll tell you, almost everybody who comes across my wife and her pink Halo armor seem to have something to say. Either they want to chat and try and "hook up", or they unleashe a berseker barrage of sexist and hateful comments because of her female status. Oh, and it's even more unbelievable how many ask if she has a webcam. It disgusts me. And the strangest part is, when we play Gears of War people are so much more respectful. Strange isnt it? Well, let that be a lesson to the young kids out there: Stay the fuck away from people you meet on Xbox Live. Unless it's Electro Lemon. Source: Filefront

And yes, Gears players are a TON better than Halo players...LOL
Either way though, I try not talking to anyone on Halo outside of my friends just for the fact most of the people on Halo are complete idiots. Either they're trash talking or trash talking someone's name.
I think Necros means Irony (Iron+y)
