Ok, so I lied. What I'm really here to talk about is who you think should be in SSBB. Do you think we should be able to blow fireballs out of our noses with Karnov? Do you think Tom Nook would be the best thing since sliced bread? What are your thoughts?

I, personally, think that Birdo should finally be added as a playable character. That Tingle should be playable, so you can kooloo lim-PAH all over the other players in a sticky white mes-- uh...
But really, I think that Geno has gotten the shaft ever since Super Mario RPG. I don't give a shit what Mallow's doing nowadays; maybe he could be a "helper character". However, Geno was a badass, and I demand his presence in the battlefield. I must have my Finger Shot!!!

Geno is property of Square-Enix, so I don't see it happening.

I'm not sure if he is or not, but I think with Mario Hoops 3 on 3 having Squenix characters, it's completely doable, regardless of which company owns him.

Well, Geno made a cameo in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, and the credits listed him as belonging to Square-Enix.

And there were Final Fantasy characters in Mario Hoops because it was developed by Square-Enix.

Well, since each character has a stage, and there's an Animal Crossing stage, can't it be assumed that someone from Animal Crossing will be a playable character? Just a thought I've had.
