Guten Tag. This is my first blog post/pseudo-mandatory introduction. My real name is Ben and I'm a 20 year old college student living the dream. I live in the lower middle part of Florida, god's waiting room, where if you go a couple of hours north you end up in the deep south and if you go an hour or 2 south you end up in Latin America. I got my first system at the tender age of nine, a black and white gameboy pocket, which still works to this day, which says something about current gen systems, doesn't it. I currently have a PS3 and a Wii in terms of consoles. I had a 360, 3 actually, but the last one died out of warranty and I have not yet replaced it, and may never. I also have a good gaming laptop and as for handhelds I have a PSP and a Gameboy Advanced SP. Of these my PS3 gets the most use, my Wii only being used to play Super Smash Bros and Okami(again).

My favorite types of games are straegey, rpg including and perhaps especially the j variety, adventure, and fps. My all time favorite series is Final Fantasy, my fire of my passion for it dwarfing the the heat of a thousand suns. I own all the main series and most of the spin offs and my favorite is FF Tactics........ give me a sec...... o.k. Also, recently proving her incredible ability to be the most awesome person on the face of the earth my friend got me the latest outing in the series for Christmas/my birthday, 3 days after aforementioned holiday.... from Japan.... she is pure, distilled awesome. Also a fan of Metal Gear Solid, Devil May Cry, and recently Uncharted, among others. Aside from gaming my other hobbies include, reading, being a newb at the guitar, discussing/arguing politics, listening to music (my love of the Beatles rivals that of Final Fantasy), Anime/Manga, my favorite being Fullmetal Alchemist, rock climbing, and skateboarding.

Over the past few weeks you may have had the feeling of being watched, of having your conversations overheard by some unknown disembodied eavesdropper. You look behind you to find nothing there but the dancing of the shadows on the wall. It keeps you awake at night as you lie with you eyes open, fearing that whatever is watching you is just waiting for the right time to strike. If this is the case I recommend seeking medical attention. As for me I started visiting sporadically while looking for video game news and ended up coming back several times just to read the opinions and blogs. I liked what I saw and I figured joining would be the next logical step. Now, before I finish, I am a noob when it comes to posting. This is my first real community outside of arguing on political forums as a guest. As such, my e-peen is rather humble at the moment, but I remain enthusiastic and will insert myself into your community with vigor. As I grow, I will seek to improve on my technique and learn what you like so that with each new entry(ahem), I can provide more enjoyment(hmmm). I hope that you will be willing to accommodate me as I do my best to make it as good for you as it is for me. [/innuendo]
