Nintendo gamer for life, begrudging owner of a PS3, aching for games for both of my consoles. Sigh.
I'm all about the RPG's, starting with Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG, all the way through Final Fantasy 6-12 (skipping 11) and ending up with Persona 3 and Ar Tenelico. Square is where its at, as long as its premerger. My opinion thereafter is low at best.
I'm also a HUGE anime fan, getting my cherry popped by a set of Dragonballs and a transexual boy/girl named Ranma. In the intervening years I've discovered the greatness of 'School Rumble', 'Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien', 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya', 'Elfen Lied', and basking in the glory that is 'Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo' and 'Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann'. I try to empty my wallet as quickly as possible collecting inglorious amounts of PVC statues and figures.
Speaking of statues and figures, I write features on Tomopop.com. I make your taste buds dance and sing. I also occasionally review stuff for Japanator.
Enough pimping, let's rock!

I use the Hori Fighting Stick 3, and it works fine. However, the buttons are skewed the opposite way that they should be. Minor issue though.. at least it works.
The "Tower" is the only thing I have left and even then I'm flying through it quite competently.
Really? A story mode with only 5 stages?
Also, I'll be trying out my own Stick later now that I remember I have it.
I must suck, because I've only beat story mode with 4 characters and only made it to floor 10 in tower mode. For the reviewers that said button mashing works in Soul Caliber is full of shit.
I have still yet to play it since I am a bit broke this month, but I hope to pick it up soon.
BTW, what's you're PSN so we can fight?
Also, I have no idea why people built up Hilde because I find her to be insufferable. However, I'm totally digging Shura and Algol.
Darth Vader version :)
Is anyone else underwhelmed by Algol? I mean, Abyss/Night Terror is a hard act to follow, but he doesn't give off the sense of "intimidating final boss" to me. I haven't checked out all of his moves yet, so maybe there's some kickass stuff lurking in that command list.
and yes, the innuendo was intentional :-)
