Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I have a M3, with a 2GB, and I've got 44 games on there so you won't be wishing you had a 4GB that much
I also don't condone the actions of [irates YARRR!
That should be enough to pique anyone's interest.
I haven't had a problem with my R4 yet. I'm using a 2GB MicroSD card, and with a few games and a lot of music, I am wishing I had a bit more space, but it's very simple to swap files on and off the card.
I use my DS as an MP3 player, since I'm cheap and don't have a separate one. The maximum volume is low, and if you plan on carrying a lot of music, you're going to eat into that 2GB pretty quick.
The video format is pretty crap, only because you have to reencode it into a special format first. The picture and sound quality are fine.
I wrote about the R4 a couple months ago when I first got mine: Are You Getting The Most Out Of Your DS?
Here's where I got mine Electrobes.
