This movie has been off the radar for so long, I had almost forgotten that it was going to be made into a movie! There are quite a few postings about who was being cast (from 2005), but nothing official.

John Foo: While Takeshi Kaneshiro was originally pegged to play Jin, I think that John will play as Jin for two strong reasons.

1.) Takeshi in starring in the Onimusha film (you know, the game whose main character was modeled after him? Yah, that one) that is being released in 2009, and is filming sometime this year.
2.) John Foo is a Wushu master and a stuntman.






Sienna Guillory: She has prior videogame to movie experience and (as a blonde) simply looks like Nina to me.





Susie Amy: Looks like Nina to me, and is kinda-sorta sister-ish looking to Sienna. Both of these girls could flip flop roles and be a good fit.




Andy Serkis: I'm thinking he will play as Yoshimitsu. Why? He already has some quirky physical movement experience, and his face will be behind a mask. Yoshi never speaks, so......... why not?




Chiaki Kuriyama: Everyone otaku fanboi's wet dream wrapped in Astro-glide plastic...... she isn't old enough to play as Jun, and is too high profile to play such a minor role. I am guessing she will play as Ling Xiaoyu .
