When I saw that four-player mockup of Bulletstorm I was like YEEEEESSSSS! And then when I realized you had made the whole thing up I was like NOOOOOOOOOO!

@rexwolf2, Toadofsky: thanks :)

"First off, MK must have done something right because all of the shitty MK clones disappeared "
"This was the one creepy culture missing from this franchise... Furries"
"Jesus fuck, really? That kind of response from my comment> Goddam gamers are getting even more pathetic by the day. By the goddam day."
All straight from your post history, ya might wanna lead by example first, just sayin'.
@LawofThermalDynamics: You win a "Visionary Award (Level 1)" for seeing lame post attempt through a layer of "holier than thou".

Really enjoyed this blog. One of the best I've read recently. Although I find myself agree with virtually everything you state, so I'm sure my glowing evaluation of it is an ironic example of bias itself.
Also, so glad to see LKS pictured above. What an enjoyable little gem.

Posting histories are fun, because they lack context. Without context, it's just a snippet, a freeze frame, and hardly damning evidence. Here, allow me to explain my quotes...
MK sucks, supposedly. And all the people claim it's horrible and stupid and it's never been anything but the gore. My point is MK is great, relevant, and if all it had was the gore, all the shitty MK Clones (Timekillers, Way of the Warrior, Kasumi Ninja, etc) wouldn't have disappeared since a vast majority of them "outgored" MK. I mean one even had a scottish warrior launching fireballs from under his kilt!
Furries comment on BlazBlue... ever hear of trolling an old friend from the 'stiq? Jack of No Trades, like myself, got tired of what the Joystiq community has become, and came here. I decided to give him a little crap. He didn't respond, thus I just let it go.
The third is DEFINITELY without context. Let me clue you in. This was a Kinect vs Move thing. I stated of the two, Move has more interest from me because it's looking like it's targetting both casuals and cores, a crime we often accuse Wii of not doing. The reaction was, well, ignorant. It was essentially two people calling me an idiot and another going on a rant as if I just said Nintendo Wii was the worst console ever and has been known to rape dogs. My response was actually a reaction. A reaction that was at the blatant overreaction from retarded little console warriors.
But fine, if you want to be a twat about the whole thing, allow me to respond to your article. It's loaded with selective cynicism, common among gamers nowadays and one of the leading problems I see with gamers in general. Nobody is willing to just say, "I enjoy this game" anymore. They have to find validation from others, sales to back their opinions, references to other games to explain why they enjoy it, simply put, nobody thinks for themselves anymore. We've all become a generation of parrots mimmicking others thoughts and more importantly, incapable of simply sitting down and enjoying a game. We've become invested in which companies have sold out, which ones are staying true indie, and which ones represent who we are as a person that makes us unique while ignoring the fact that at least 500,000 more people, by proxy of owning said game, is just as unique as you in the same fashion. We've become the snobby record store employees of the digital age. And this article reeks of that.
For example, if the article was simply why you prefer the Wii with what is on there, that is one thing. But it's loaded with links to other peoples opinions repeated as though evidence, or more importantly, as argumentative support for your own opinion when it should, at it's core, just be your own opinion. The fact that you love the Wii is not even presented as a positive. Instead you love the Wii because PS360 suck, a point you make consistently throughout the whole affair. You cannot validate you love of a system without shitting on another and that, frankly, is where I feel the article fails. Which is why I made my overly obvious comment, "If you can't say something nice..."

Fair enough, i admit i did just a take a quick look at your post history for those but given your very original and epic wall of text answer you didn't do much better.
Funny, that you say that "Nobody is willing to just say, 'I enjoy this game' anymore.", cuz the reason i come here is precisely because one can just say whatever they think, love or feel, good or bad (within reason, trolls don't apply) about a game, system or concept without the avalanche of "YOU SUCK, THAT'S DUMB!" comments you see on other sites.
As for your complaints about the article all i can say is something i've come to learn and accept through my experiences in life:
You can't please everyone and if you manage to do it you probably won't be pleased with yourself.
I wrote this article the way i wanted it because it's my article, my particular bias and my particular style and opinions, the reason i tend to include links into my writing is:
a)As example or reference to a more detailed wording of to the idea i'm trying to express, not seeking validation.
b)because in my personal experience there's always someone that'll show up saying "BS that never happened" which ends up prompting me to search a link to show i'm not making stuff up, oh the irony that this time it's someone bitching about including them.
Again, if that bothers you i'm sorry, that's my way of doing things, if it annoys you that's your problem and while you're perfectly free to add your 2 cents, i'd expect someone that claims i'm acting like a "snobbish record store employee" to do better than that little bit of holier than thou one-liner you placed up there.
As for the "PS360 Suck" part, did you expect me to just talk about the changes without mentioning how they manifest in the other two?, am i supposed to hold back my opinion as to not hurt your opinion/feelings or the console's? should i perhaps have mentioned the changes and show a console under a shadow so as not to let it be know which one it was? Sorry, not gonna happen, good or bad it's what i want to say, i'll say and won't hold back, if i'm wrong i'm 99% sure someone that can disprove me will show up cuz that's also part of the reason i like it here, people that can actually offer valid, level headed, non-pseudo trollish reasons ALONG with clever sarcasm like Xzyliac, Magnalon and Qraze have done before to me, not just basic 13yo snide and name calling(hell even failblogs get incredibly better thought out sarcasm than what you offered) when that has happened i've accepted it and learned that i'm not always right, this time though it's not one of those, at least not by you.

And now, we're back to our regular program
@mrandydixon: LOL, guess i'm gonna have to start including some disclaimers in those.
@ctrain: well it's a "Teh Bias" article, so i guess it's ok this one time, and yeah LKS is very enjoyable in what little i have played so far (got sidetracked by Harry Hatsworth and the Puzzle Adventure on the DS, i'll get back to LKS soon, hopefully).
