PSP-4000 Announcement leaked through ad

If the ad in question is to be believed it seems that the PSP-4000 is a reality and it seems to be the combination of the best features of the PSP-3000 and PSPGo. Now what does this mean for the PSPGo? if the lukewarm reception it got is any indication it probably means a (faster) fading into obscurity... unless Sony is just messing with people again.

It likely just has a larger memory to allow for money-making off the recent intro of PSP minis.
That's what makes sense anyway... a minor change to allow for increased $$ for Sony.

PSPgo is the PSP-N1000!? Well I guess a revision was inevitable. I wonder what they'll add??

Actually, we got my dad a PSPgo for his birthday and many retailers were sold out of them. But then again, it would be crazy for any product to not sell during the holiday season.

Wait, ANOTHER one? Seriously, I'm perfectly happy with my PSP1000, and really don't see the need for another one. That said, I own a DS Phat and don't really want to upgrade that either.
However there are currently 4 iterations of the PSP at retail right now, and 4 iterations of the DS, so I can't rag on about how there's too many PSPs that much, I guess.

Sony's just trying to keep up with how many handhelds change. Most likely in regards to the DS... Plus the PSP Go was shit.

Yeah somebody told me this. I thought the PSPgo was the PSP4000 at first but then I looked at the pic.

You know what the saddest thing is? Gamers can't decide on what they want. First Sony made the PSP and people are complaining about the UMD. Then Sony makes a new PSP without the UMD. Then people want the UMD back. OK, Sony makes another new PSP with UMD and people start complaining about Sony making so many new PSP's.

I really wish people would stop complaining for a change. About everything! I need to write a blog about this bullcrap for I've got a lot more to say.

What about the PSone and PStwo? Sony's ten year cycle. They're doing a lot better than other companies. A new version of a hand-held or console doesn't mean they're not supporting the older version any longer.
