Even though I was out of town last weekend, I diiiiiid still make my way to a Gamestop to get Deoxys! It was not much of an "event," you just walked in and I asked the uninterested sales clerk (surprise) if it was Pokémon day... she just handed me a flyer and said "follow this."

Ugh, I hate Gamestops. They are cramped and cluttered, and the staff is always lame and talking about stuff they think they know about but I assure you they do not. If you work at a Gamestop and this is -not- you, I apologize, but that's been my experience. Plus I am totally against the whole pre-order to get your game nonsense they enforce.

Afterwards a friend told me he went to a Gamestop for Deoxys the next day, but because he had Pokémon Pearl he could not get one! Supposedly last weekend was for Diamond players only, and this weekend is for Pearl. Is that really how it worked? Well I got mine in any case, one less to hunt.

I recently decided I'm going to try and complete the Diamond/Pearl Pokedex, all the way. I'm only at 297...
