About Me

When not protecting the world from the injustices on all things non-awesome, I have some time to play some games. Not much time, but I do what I can. There's a lot of non-awesome in the world, so myself and the rest of the members of Team Awesome stay quite busy.

Also, I live in San Francisco, so if you're in the area or see me around say hi. I promise I won't bite. I work full-time for two different video game related companies. At one I test the vidja games. At the other I do PR for video games. Eventually I will only be doing the PR gig, so I'll finally have some free time in which I can return to hosting RetroforceGO!

I'd tell you the names of the companies, but I think the one I test for would probably have a hissy fit if their legal department knew there was a Destructoid Associate Editor in their testing department ;)

Random bullshit:

I like pizza rolls
Diet Pepsi is win
I have a yellow Cuban pimp suit

I'm Scorpio
SNES was prolly my most favorite system
I have a cape and wear it often
I do not like banana flavored candy of any kind
I drink beer from brown paper bags
Weezer's El Scorcho pretty much describes me
You can always crash on my couch
I flip a coin like Two-face to make decisions

Get your game trading on in the RFGO! forums!

-- Picture totally unrelated, but hot --

So, as I once remarked to my past version myself (also know as "Droobies"), we really need to get the community involved in some hot game trading action. We may eventually make a whole site for such a thing, but in the meantime we can just rock out in the RFGO! forum area. I just set up a thread for the trading of games amongst the community members (no drifters, please), and if anyone is interested, you can check it out over here:

RetroforceGo's Great Game Trading Thread of Justice.

I know that we have an awesome community here, so I figure that we can all share our love of gaming by sharing our games and old systems that we no longer need. I currently have the first post since I'm looking for a copy of Lufia for the SNES. Check out see what I'm willing to trade for it, you may be surprised.

<3!

What a great idea! I can already think of a few games that I would be willing to give away some gems for. And this would be totally awesome for people who don't really want to deal with eBay.

Also, that picture reminds me of Misa Misa from Death Note.

So true about the pic.

Anyways, amazing thread. I used to frequent the Something Awful trade thread and it was good times. Bookmarked!

Good luck getting Lufia, it's a tough find..

I finally signed up for Goozex last week, and I'm bummed that they only go back to the PlayStation, though I can see why they don't. If that thread takes off I'd be interested in getting involved, can't help right now though since I have no Lufia...

2500 for a new one? That's crazy. I just want a used copy. I have the sequel and want to replay it, but want to do it in order.

Here's to hoping!

Dyson has a sweet collection, I know of this! X3 it would be a damn good trade, I wished I had Lufia right now to trade with him.

I don't have Lufia, unfortunately, but I love this idea!

She looks like a live-action version of the chick from Death Note.

And Dyson, if you're replaying Lufia in order, you should be starting with II anyways, as it's a prequel ;P.

I wish I hadn't just pitched a bunch of stuff on Goozex today, I'd much rather trade with Dtoiders.

I can keep a lookout this summer while I'm working at the retro game store. You wouldn't believe some of the stuff people trade in there. Tengen Tetris, a SEALED copy of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for PS1...shit's crazy.

Wedge, I know the sequel is the prequel, but playing them in order as I did before makes the prequel so much more awesome. And it has been quite some time since I played both.

/looks at Lufia II with longing...

Yes that and Lufia II is a much much better game. Some of those fucking puzzles though...
