Once upon a time, I was introduced to this mind-bending, heartwarming franchise by a close friend of mine about two years ago. While I was introduced to this masterpiece series late, my love for the franchise should not be dissuaded by this short period of time. I am an RPG fanatic above all else and I love the medieval time period. When I heard most of the franchise takes place in a modern day setting I had my doubts, but in actuality I enjoyed the setting quite well.
The first title in the SMT saga that I have played was Persona 3: FES via the PSN store and I fell in love. The characters are unbelievably well written, and the story is dark but at the same time touching. After this I had made it my goal in life to acquire everything I could gather with the SMT title attached. The Persona 4 Anime adaption, Persona 4 Arena, Persona 4 Golden (I bought a vita just for it too!), Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, Shin Megami Tensei: Soul Hackers, and I am in the process of acquiring the main series games.
I also own a Yasogami High cosplay costume, aswell as a Rise Kujikawa keychain and other memorabilia. I have been looking forward to Shin Megami Tensei IV since the title was announced. I've followed every tidbit and detail I could up until now. The music is fantastic (Shoji Meguro, you are the god of music, man), the voice acting from what I've seen is very well done, and the art style is beautiful.
If I were to win a Shin Megami Tensei IV box set, I would enjoy the soundtrack that is included frequently, as well as rock the hell out. The artbook has also piqued my curiosity and I would love to view it. But above all else, the game itself which I will play religiously as well as introducing my other friends with 3DS's to this amazing franchise that no hardcore RPG fan should miss out on.
Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone else who enters! :D
