Myself, LostCrichton, and Toneman played the demo for 2 1/2 hours last weekend. We even went as far to ask one of the Best Buy associates to find a working controller to we could use the mic as well. No such luck, but hey the guy honestly tried.
Say It Ain't So is what I played on drums at E for All. And then, I rocked so hard the power went out in half the convention center. For serious.
LOL Shipero, you guys are such nerds :P
@shipero
I'm jealous. I know the people at my Best Buy and they kicked me the fuck out after about 20 minutes....assholes.
Well they didn't kick me out but they asked me to stop rocking so fucking hard.
70% on easy? lol, the only song I can see you beat on hard mode with that kind of percentage is hit me with your best shot.
the guitar is sensitive and i think that the whole non-clicking noise throws people off. it threw me off for awhile. also i am lost without knowing what the hell to hamemer on and off.
the buttons not protruding from the guitar seem add to it but that all just needs some getting used to.
the drums i can't fairly judge because they were so close to the tv that i was looking directly up at the screen without the drums in my peripheral vision. it made it hard seeing as green is on the right as opposed to being on the left on the guitar.
phew! thats my [strike]2[/strike] bunch of cents.
damn thats alot of typos n' shit.
I'm still pissed that the one Best Buy near my house has a broken guitar peripheral. I might check it out again this weekend if the Guitar works, because the tour ain't comin' to Nebraska.
So, the guitar is supposed to be like that? I think I'll buy it with just the drum in February.
I played it a demo of it at a local best buy and they had a guitar and drums set up. The retarded thing is that they didn't plug in any of the audio connections to the big screen unit they had. It was so retarded and I felt like it when I tried to play the damn thing without sound. That and the fact that the drums set was so beat up that it required extra force just to get the thing to work right.
