You only get made fun of when you die if a lot of people knew you. When I die my family will surely be the only ones that know, and I'm sure they'll be sad. That being said, I wouldn't hold it against anyone if they did laugh... death isn't a tragedy, it's just the way of the world, and people in this age put too much of an emphasis on life beyond all other things.
