This August a three day long, massive Expo takes place in the Metro Toronto Convention Center.
FanExpo is an annual event with over 600 exhibitors and retailers focusing on Video Games, Comic Books, Anime, Science Fiction, and Horror. It's Canada's biggest event for these focuses. So it's definitely worth checking out their website over at
http://www.hobbystar.com/fanexpo. Some of the guests this year are
Bruce Campbell, Leonard freakin' Nimoy and Lou Ferrigno! So much awesome in one place.
The Dates and Times are:
Friday August 28th - 4:00pm to 9:00pm
Saturday 29th - 10:00am to 7:00pm
Sunday 30th - 11:00am to 6:00pm
If you guys are coming, let's meet up one of the 3 days for Lunch, either at a sit down somewhere or from that crazy dude who sells the street meat from the sidewalk.

I'm going. On the press list. I'll be the one on Bruce Campbell's lap, drooling on his chin. :)
I'm on the west coast of Canada... it's too bad that Vancouver doesn't have something of this nature aimed at the average gamer. They recently had the Vancouver equivalent of the GDC.. but it wasn't open to the public at all. :(
I'll be there as well. And sorry Faith, but I get his lap.
Going again this year. Hell, I'm buying my ticket tonight (Or trying to)!
This is the first con I'm ever going to
I really don't know what to expect but it looks promising, probably gonna spend a ton of cash and immerse myself in all things pixelated.
I'll be there all three days at varying times. I'm totally down for a meetup somewhere.
Oops, just found out about this. A bit too late for me. Do you all come from Toronto or are you making a trip for this?
