Dtoid Toronto Reminder: Lanapalooza

Just a reminder, Lanapalooza is coming up next may.
From May 8 - 10th The Community center in Aurora (30m north of Toronto) is being set up for up to 300 BYOC (bring your own computer) and 100 console gamers.
Registration is open and cash-prize tournaments are being held for CS 1.6, Left For Dead, TF2, COD4 on the PC.
Free entry tournaments in Quake 3, UT 2004, TF2, CS 1.6/Source, Quake 4 & UT 3.

If you sign up now before April 17th entry is $35, by May 5th $40, or at the door $50.

If you've never had experience at a LAN party it's one of the best times, for realz.
So, who's interested in coming to this? I know I am. And don't say you'll be busy, I'm giving you 3 months to reschedule.

Aurora is pretty far from Toronto man, and most people who live here don't have cars because we gots the TTC!!

If I can find a way there I shall be there, but the odds are slim. Dammit!

I'm in Toronto with a gaming PC and I'm into TF2... But I stopped at Aurora/$35.

Also really not interested in Quake / UT / CS.

Yeah, Aurora is fucking far. I could take a couple of buses, but it just isn't worth it.

The drive is about 46 minutes according to mapquest, starting from Dundas st. w and ending at the Aurora community center.
Considering I did a 4 hour drive no sweat last week I can safely say you guys gotta man up.

Aurora is FAR? I'm with dtoidtoronto on this... you guys have to grow some testicles. I'm coming from Barrie which is probably the same distance. Get some gaming friends interested that DO have access to a car. $35 is nothing compared to 2-3 days of solid gaming goodness, I plan to sleep in my chair if i even bother sleeping! Wooo!
