I just wanted to thank all who came out to the DtoidSF 3rd Anniversary Party! It was a night full of games, drinking and a little bit of drunken Apples to Apples...(from what I can remember at least). Extra special thanks go out to Kapkomi for bringing not one but TWO arcade sticks for some epic SFIV and Guilty Gear battles....sadly the Mad Catz tournament stick was defective!
And of course, what is a party thrown by Tactix without some views of the rape closet and the viewing of Zombie Strippers in under 40 minutes, narrated by yours truly! (I love that movie like Chad loves Showgirls :D)
Anyway, here are some pictures that were taken that night!
Keep your eyes peeled on the emailer and c-blogs for the next big event! Keep the last weekend of March open...I'm sure you will not be disappointed :P

There are quite a few Dtoiders that already have plans to attend, so if you haven’t made plans to meet us there, what are you waiting for! Join up on the Dtoid SF Google Group and let us know what days you are attending. Hope to meet some of you there!
The DtoidSanFrancisco group is proud to announce two upcoming events for everyone living in the East Bay area! Make sure to take out your Nerdcore calendars and some permanent markers, cause its time to have some NARPs!
FIRST
Wondercon is part of the Comic-con International family of conventions, and takes place every year at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Comic book and gaming "enthusiasts" from the Bay Area migrate to this event every year for a chance to meet and greet comic book artists as well as check out the huge amount of exhibitors on the show floor....and...OMG.....I JUST SAW THAT E.G. DAILY, THE VOICE OF TOMMY PICKLES FROM RUGRATS WILL BE THERE!!
...ok..sorry about that. I honestly just saw that now, and am now personally super excited.
Anyway, there are a good amount of Dtoiders going to this con, so if you are interested in meeting up with us, make sure to check out the DtoidSF Google Group, where the planning is going down! We hope to see some of you there!
SECOND!
And second, as you know, Destructoid's Third Anniversary Party-SuperParty will be held in Miami on the weekend of March 14-15. Since Florida is SOOO FAAAR from us, DtoidSF, along with many other Destructoid NARP groups, will be throwing our own party to celebrate Destructoid's anniversary! The exact plans for this are still being ironed out, but the idea is to have a shindig at my place, which will involve vidja games (naturally), booze (but of course), and if you play your cards right, trips to Uncle Tactix's Secret Closet. (you know which one I'm talking about).
Moral of the above is SIGN UP FOR THE GOOGLE GROUP! You can hear about these events in even more detail and not be frightened to miss out on anything. Just make sure to visit the Google Group page to update your profile with your Dtoid name so we know who you are!
So, make sure to not plan any WoW Raids for these dates and avoid visits home to grandma during these spring months...cause we have lots planned and want you all to be there!
And guess what? That means RANDOM FUN TIME IN THE CITY!
Several members of DtoidSF (Dyson, CTZ, Husky and more!) are planning on meeting in San Francisco at Japantown to check out the shops and hang out with TheGHost before he leaves back for home and then Australia to become a doctor. (House MD has nothing on our Cameron!)
Plans are to meet up around 11:00 AM and hang out until 4 or 5 in the afternoon.
So if you live in/near San Francisco, and want to hang out with some of the coolest people in the East Bay, feel free to join us! Contact ctz@destructoid.com if you are planning on joining us.
Welcome to the Destructoid San Francisco group. This blog is meant for all Dtoiders that are in or near the San Francisco area. The purpose here is to set up community events such as NARPs and any type of get together like conventions, cons, industry events, etc. This is done for and by the community because sometimes, just talking to each other on the Internets isn't enough.
If you want to be added to the friend's list or want to set up some kind of party/event, then please just PM me.
Sign up for our Google Group! Please include your Dtoid name in the request :D
Jealous that you don't live in the San Francisco area? Check out our friends and see if there's a group near you!
