Hello, this is the Destructoid New York community blog! It will be used for introducing the wonderful members of community events, parties and other happenings in the tri-state area that the community would be interested in taking part in. This is done for and by community members and is not official Destructoid business.

Okay, it's that time of the year. For 4 days this year, the New York Comic Con will be going on with all of the comic, movie, tv, games, anime and toys that you may be interested in the upcoming winter season. Dtoid staff members Dale North, Jonathan Holmes and Samit Sarkar will all be in attendance

On the gaming front, we probably have Max Payne 3, (Rockstar) Rayman Origins, Assassin's Creed Bro, Ghost Recon: FS, Just Dance 3, (Ubisoft) Street Fighter X Tekken, Ultimate MVC3, Dragon's Dogma, Dead Rising: OTR, RE: Revelations, Asura's Wrath, (Capcom) Final Fantasy X-2, Quantum Conundrum, (Square Enix) X-Men Destiny, Spider-Man: Edge of Time, (Activision) Skullgirls (Autumn Games), and a lot more.

If you aren't coming to the convention, we will definitely be doing karaoke on Saturday. So, join us in the city for some awesome Sonic theme music singing action.

If you are going to be in the city that weekend and want to hang out with Dtoid NY, contact power-glove via the Dtoid PM system and you can join us for some good times.
