Hello, this is the Destructoid New York community blog! It will be used for introducing the wonderful members of community events, parties and other happenings in the tri-state area that the community would be interested in taking part in. This is done for and by community members and is not official Destructoid business.

This past weekend the wonderful people that make up Destructoid New York escaped the city and traveled all the way down to the southern tip of New Jersey for our very first Beach Narp. Our generous host Keener was gracious enough to let everyone stay at his place for the duration for the weekend and you can bet usual Destructoid New York shenanigans ensued. Of course it goes without saying that this combination of people in this specific setting resulted in an EPIC time. While I could put together a list of what happened throughout the duration of the weekend I have decided that a photo recap of the weekend would be much more appropriate!
Everyone sit down and take a look!
While it started with calm video game playing...
It quickly escalated to full on NARPtitude. (And grilling! Grilling not pictured.)
Some (super exciting) Tiger Woods 10 frisbee golf was played!
Then everyone passed out (and a blanket was stolen for the evening.)
Saturday was off to the beach and a boardwalk arcade. (Which strangely we have a complete lack of beach pictures other than the header image.)
Some SUPER SERIOUS times were had.
And some EXTREME times were had.
We all convened for some Chinese food after and even fought crime in the process!
Upon returning to Keener's house for the evening, 8-player Singstar matches erupted as Team Red squared off with Team Blue
All in all, the weekend was incredible and thank you so much to everyone that made the trip out and assisted in making this happen.

Easily one of the best times I've had! Everyone I met there was so chill. It was definitely worth the road trip down there. Epic fighter matches, Double Dare, sand castles, "EDF,EDF!", Singstar Golden moments! um..um..MST3k..umumum...:sigh:...good times. Thanks for the hospitality DTNY and Keener for being such a great host!
I can't wait until I get my next batch of loan funds and can start doing fun things again. Starting in late August, I can be awesome again. When that time comes, I expect great things, DtoidNY.
id like to goto a NARP some time to meet some dtoiders. but living in CT(am i the only one here?) im far from everyone.
well except the NY'ers but i have a personal grudge against NY city.(not the people, just cities in general)
maybe i should look into doing a dtoid New England NARP camping trip. lots of good spots here in CT. plus its between all the other NE states so everyone can join.
