It has been a while since we did a Dtoid NY blog post, but I have some excellent news. Dtoid NY now has a Google Group. Our many members discuss and plan future events and parties that the members of Dtoid can come to in the tri-state area. If you wish to join this group, please PM power-glove with your Google info (i.e., your Gmail address) so we can add you to the emailer.

I would also like to inform you that we will be out and about this weekend. On Friday, October 24th, we will be attending a special Capcom event for the Street Fighter Club. We will be playing Street Fighter IV and SSF2HDR at this event. On Saturday there is a Pulsewave show, which is special concert series dedicated to chiptunes. The artists playing this event are Anamanaguchi, Nullsleep, and Bit Shifter. At the same time, in Clifton, NJ, there will be a NAVA meeting at Digital Press, a special retro game store. That same day and afterwards, there will be a NARP at Nintendoll's apartment, where the usual shenanigans take place.

After this, we have much more in store for the fall season, so stay tuned.
