Today is the GameUnicon and I just wanted to remind people to join the Google Group if they haven't already.It really is the best way to keep in the know with what's going on this weekend. A few of us will be arriving a little later and going to the concert later starring The Megas, Konami Code and Freezepop. I just wanted to remind Dtoiders that GameUnicon is this month from August 21-23. I'm definitely attending and I will be entering my first tournament for SSF2HD and SFIV. You can tell it's serious business when you have to pay a tourney fee! So, if you have any interest at all in this event and meeting up with any of us, say so in the Forum or join our Google Group and let's set something up!

Friday:
Roundtrip bus ticket from NY leaves Friday August 21st at 6AM from times square, you must have your Gamer or Convention Pass already to get on this bus.

Bus leaves Massachusetts at 7PM Sunday.

2 weeks ago the Funspot meet up in NH happened and I have to say It was awesome! Tha_Meat, ZeroTolo, Rawnewdlz, Sonicboom w/friend Craig, HeyRicochet w/gf Amy and myself were in attendance. It was cool how as soon as we got together, you could swear that we've known each other for the longest time. I'm glad we all came together for a good night guys!

A quest for Arby's, the great ticket obsession with the last of our monies and a 6 player X-Men arcade (who wants to be Dazzler?...anybody?) were among some of the cool things that happened that night. Here is to hoping that more people are able to come out next time with us!

I just want to give people a little reminder that this Saturday is our Funspot meetup. Like I said in the last post this will be the first time Dtoid New England meets up and it would be nice to see everyone there. Hey there friends, I would like to invite you all to come out with us next weekend on the 27th of June in Laconia, NH to a wonderful place called Funspot: American Classic Arcade Museum and "Home of the Largest Arcade in the World!" If you haven't joined the New England Google Group yet, please do and give some feedback. If you can't drive, see if anyone lives nearby and carpool.

Corny titles aside, this will be our first get together since the inception of this group so be sure to show some local support! It should be a great time considering there is no way one can get bored at a place like this. It has Ten Pin and Candle Pin bowling. For our eating and drinking needs there is a restaurant and tavern. It certainly has one of the biggest classic gaming rosters I've ever seen including Space Ace, Defender and Galaga! With a decent semi typical list of arcades like Super Street Fighter 2, Time Crisis, Daytona USA etc...So, you know what to do people. Come join us!

Hey, what's up my fellow Dtoid community, this is Senisan82. After longing for the days of a New England NARP group on the site , the elders of the internet(Hamza) saw it fit to finally see it through! The purpose of these groups as you know, is to set up a local community to get together for videogame or NVGR related shenanigans. It's a great way to have fun with like minded individuals who carry the phrase "Also, C***s" in their hearts. So, join me Dtoid robots in creating something wonderful for this here community!
