If only the above had happened, we would have nothing to celebrate this coming Sunday. Anyway, we have kind of been planning this party in our Google Group for the past week, but Kyle and Donna are having people over to their place tomorrow (Saturday) night at 7PM for games, drinks, giant slides, and Zombie Jesus.
If you're in the LA area, come join us! Sign up for the Google Group to read about more details like where it is, what to bring, and all of that. If you can't make it, sign up for the Google Group anyway, and you can keep up with our latest shenanigans the moment we talk about them. It's probably the best way to keep in touch, especially since we are so lazy about posting these blogs!
P.S. Secret special guest confirmed for the party. You'll have to come to find out who it is! Her Appearance Will Please!
Did you miss us? I know we haven't been around in a while, but we're back with some exciting news about some upcoming parties we're having!
First up, for those of you who don't know, Dexter and KyleGamgee have been actively working on doing something or other in Rock Band so that they can unlock the Endless Setlist. Mostly, they will be playing Rock Band while the rest of us get trashed and heckle them the entire time. It's gonna be hot, and likely broadcast through Stickam! Plus there'll be food and the giant slide. Mark your calendars for February 28th!
Also coming up is the combination Dtoid Anniversary/Pi Day/Dexter will be a Ph.D candidate party on March 14th! It will be people hanging out, playing video games, and drinking, but with the added bonus of there being a lot of pie. Assuming everything goes well, all the regional groups will be broadcasting their Anniversary parties so we can all party together while being so far apart.
If any of these sound like fun to you, and you live in the Los Angeles area, go ahead and join our awesome GoogleGroup to stay updated on all the amazing things we do out here. If you don't live in LA, but you just really love us like Tactix and TopGear, you can join too and hear about all the awesome stuff we do.
Just a reminder that the DToid LA Halloween party is coming up THIS SATURDAY. If you are in the LA area and want to come, just join our new Google Group and read the Halloween Party thread for details!
When you sign up to join, please list your real name, your age, and where you live.
If you've never been to a Dtoid LA event before, this will be a great one to come to since tons of us are coming. It's a great opportunity to meet people.
We just want to announce that, in order to serve you better, we’re shifting Dtoid Los Angeles to Google Groups!
If you want to join and you are not already a member, just type your email address in the box below and it will give you directions on how to apply for membership.
Please include your Dtoid username, your real name, your age, and where you live when you apply.
The group is open to anyone in Southern California, or anyone who is able to travel to SoCal and is interested in attending the many many events we have.
Just putting this up in case you missed the story on the front page. On October 3rd and 4th, in several locations around the Los Angeles area, the Red Cross will be taking blood and giving it to other people, all the while entering donors into a drawing to win a Dracula adventure game for the PC.
Sure, the game might not be your cup of tea, but if you're in the Los Angeles area, you may as well get in on this action because giving blood saves lives, and it might get some attention as an act of gamers doing something for the greater good.
Plus, free STD check! BONUS!
Check out the full post for locations. I know Dexter345 will be hitting up the Pasadena location, probably on Saturday the 4th.
This is a repost of the announcement made earlier in the week. There is a party TONIGHT at Kyle and Donna's house in El Monte!!!!

People are welcome to start coming over at 5:30. Many of those attending will be getting off work then and will be showing up around 7:00-8:00, so if you can't make it at 5:30 come whenever you can. We should be partying long into the night.
