This account is here to let all of the Los Angeles area Destructoid members know what is going on not just in the world of Destructoid, but specifically in our hometown. Parties, get-togethers, conventions, industry events, whatever. This blog will keep you updated on what be the haps.

All of our party planning and hanging out planning happens on our Google Group! To join, just head on over to the group site and request membership. Please include your real name, Dtoid name, age, and location in your request.

If Google Groups aren't your style, then check out our Facebook group! It serves a similar purpose to that of the Google Group. We will try to keep both updated with goings-on.

If you care to, add DtoidLosAngeles to your Friends List, so that the events show up in your "New stories from friends' blogs" section rather than getting buried.

Additionally, if you add DtoidLosAngeles to your XBox Live Friend List, you can use the "friends of friends" feature to check out other Destructoid members in the area.

This is a repost of the announcement made earlier in the week. There is a party TONIGHT at Kyle and Donna's house in El Monte!!!!

A GIANT TWO STORY INFLATABLE SLIDE THAT'S ALL GREASED UP FOR MAXIMUM SLIDING POWER!!!!!

Your favorite members of Dtoid LA, plus, there MIGHT be a few MYSTERY GUESTS!!**

Other fun surprises that we don't want to ruin by mentioning on the Cblog!!!

So you've missed all our previous events and decided you want to stop being lame and hang out with us? Shoot an email to the illustrious Donna at mamadonna81@yahoo.com and let her know you're coming and she'll give you directions.

People are welcome to start coming over at 5:30. Many of those attending will be getting off work then and will be showing up around 7:00-8:00, so if you can't make it at 5:30 come whenever you can. We should be partying long into the night.

I wish I could go. I'm flying over to San Diego today to visit family/ go to comic-con. Theoretically I can go, but by the time I get there it will be 2:00 New York time and I am going to have a serious case of Jetlag.

I'll see people at comic-con though.
