This account is here to let all of the Los Angeles area Destructoid members know what is going on not just in the world of Destructoid, but specifically in our hometown. Parties, get-togethers, conventions, industry events, whatever. This blog will keep you updated on what be the haps.

All of our party planning and hanging out planning happens on our Google Group! To join, just head on over to the group site and request membership. Please include your real name, Dtoid name, age, and location in your request.

If Google Groups aren't your style, then check out our Facebook group! It serves a similar purpose to that of the Google Group. We will try to keep both updated with goings-on.

If you care to, add DtoidLosAngeles to your Friends List, so that the events show up in your "New stories from friends' blogs" section rather than getting buried.

Herro DtoidRosAngeres! Just putting up a helpful little post about the goings-on for the month of May. Let's get started. Assuming the April showers are done, Kyle and Donna are having people over this coming Saturday, May 8th, down in El Monte. Why are we hoping for no rain? Because of the giant inflatable slide, of course. But even if the slide is a no-go, there will be standard NARP fare: snacks, drinks, and of course, games. Join us! You should especially show up if you haven't come to anything yet. If you still shy away from meeting us in person, then you're dead to me. Later on in the month, on Monday, May 24th, Dexter and Lib are planning a Six Flags Magic Mountain trip. If you're down with roller coasters and taking a day off of work (and honestly, other than Suff0cat, who isn't?), then join them for some twists and turns and frozen lemonade and avoiding gonosyphiherpelAIDS.
