Yet another city group. Why Chicago? Why now? We can't -- and won't -- answer those questions. But when there is something video game-related happening in or near Chicago that requires an invasion by the Destructoid Army, let us be your Central Command.
Case in point: the near-mythical
Cincinnati, OH NARP taking place the last weekend in May. We can confirm that Ron Workman, Joe Burling (a.k.a. BuckF1tches), and tazarthayoot (a.k.a. WiiSucks, electro lemon) will be involved; whether they will be wearing pants is
unconfirmed as of now. A few of us are planning on roadtripping from Chicago, and it promises to be good times, decent times, tragic and seemingly meaningless times, and good times again, in that order.
So if you want to be down with your fellow Chicagoans and/or get in on the NARP, comment below. We'll add you to the friends list over on the side. If you feel like giving information about which Chicago neighborhood or suburb you live in, feel free to add that too.
There's also a
forum thread with a map where you can see the locations of many other dtoiders across the globe, and add yourself.
