Hello again my little koala bears!
(I know theyre not bears but little koalas doesnt sound as cute to me)
Ideas were thrown around about the next Dtoid Australia event last weekend and I thought I would show you the next event I shall be attending and would love some company for.
If you don't know what Supernova is let me fill you in.
Supernova is an exhibition for all of the things the Dtoid Community loves: Movies, TV, Anime, Comics, Authors, Games & Toys. This year, the guest of honour happens to be the woman I want to put a baby in so naturally I shall be attending.
It will be held at Sydney Olympic Park Showground - The Dome, NSW on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of June 2008
AND Claremont Showgrounds - Robinson Pavilion, WA Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th June 2008.
If you wish to go to the Sydney one feel free to let me know as alot of us will probably try to organise transport, drinks after etc. Below you shall find details on the ticket and obviously more details can be found on the Supernova website.
Personally I have purchased the SUPA-HERO Pass, and will probably goto the Preview night on the Friday as well as both days(I plan to get my money's worth).
Have a look into it. It's supposed to be really good old fashioned nerdy goodness.
See you there!

I've got some friends planning on going so I'll probably be able to convince them to go on a certain day, if we organise one, and meet up with you guys for a bit at least.
Probably end up just being me though.
And Liz, whats with the Friday night preview? Is it worth going to?
Is she legal?
Through her representative, Hayden sent us this statement:
"Unfortunately, due to scheduling, Hayden Panettiere will not be able to attend the Supanova events in Sydney and Perth this June. All attempts were made to reschedule, but it was just not possible at this time. This is not a cancellation, however, but a postponement. Hayden was and is very excited to have the opportunity to visit Australia and meet the attendees at the Supanova events and is looking forward to attending Supanova events in the near future."
SUPA HERO FAN PASS holders please be advised that your tickets are refundable through Ticketek (they are sending a letter on Monday with instructions) as they were specifically developed for Hayden's fans. However, if you wish to wait and see who we secure as her replacement guest, you may wish to choose to wait a few days before making your decision. Believe us, we’re aiming high.
All of the team at Supanova appreciates your understanding on this matter. We too are disappointed that she can't make it, massively, but we look forward to Hayden joining us once this strike problem is over.
I've actually never been to this before so i cant tell you whether the private screening is worth it. I'm going to go for the fact that I paid to go I might as well show up and leave if its crap
If anyone here lives in Sydney's west, I would be happy to car pool, I'll be going on saturday.
btw mega bummed about the cheerleader not coming.
