Hello again my little tubby wombats!
October has snuck up on us and with all the awesome new games getting ready to come out, we need to get our NARP on while were still willing to leave the house! For further information and updates on the following events please join the google group. Dtoid Brisbane October 5th and 19th 2010 Team Destructoid at "Yahtzee Croshaw presents Video Game Trivia" Who: All Destructoid members are welcome however spaces are limited so get in early! What: Video Game Trivia presented by Yahtzee Croshaw at the Mana Bar... need I say more? When: Tuesday, 5th and 19th October 2010, 5pm Where: Brisbane, QLD Mana Bar 420 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley, QLD Last week Team Destructoid locked in third place and Dtoid Prime were tied for first. In a Goldeneye 64 showdown, poor Huon(who had never played) went down 5-1 in kills putting them into second place for prizes. Be sure to join us if you think youd be awesome at Video Game Trivia Actually join us even if you think youd suck, thats cool too! October 16th 2010 Roller Derby! BRAWL STARS VS BLOODY MARYS Who: ] All Destructoid members are welcome but will need to buy tickets here ASAP! What: This has become a mini tradition within Dtoid Brisbane, and it should be a lot of fun! When: Saturday, 16th October 2010, 6:30pm Where: Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre October 29th 2010 Destructoid Australias Movie Night! HORROR! Who: All Destructoid members are welcome but will need to join the google group for exact details. What: Our viewing selection will be: Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm St, The Exorcist and of course Halloween. BYO Drinks and popcorn! Snacks will be available but please bring money to chip in for pizza. When: Friday, 29th October 2010, 6pm Where: Brisbane, QLD El Casa De Muzz Please join the google group for the address. October 30th 2010 Dtoid Australia does Halloween! Who: All Destructoid members are welcome but will need to join the google group for exact details. What: Lets face it, nerds love costumes! So we are having a Halloween party to get our cosplay on! BYO Drinks and money for Hell Pizza! When: Saturday, 30th October 2010, 6pm Where: Home of FooLiz and SpaceCowboy! Please join the google group for the address. Also on the thought of Halloween I just had to share this...
