Hey folks, Dtoid Austin/Texas here. It's been a few months since we talked, but there just hasn't been much to say. Until now. Look Destructoid, I want you back in my life. It's been too hard for me to just ignore you're there. So I want you to come over to my place in September. The weekend of September 19th specifically. ProfessorPew and Mid3vol are going to be there, and I thought you could show up and we could just sorta be one big happy family ya know? I don't really have much more details than that, but just know that I miss you Dtoid, and clear up your calendars around then. I really want to see you.

Well, this is it folks. The Screwattack Gaming Convention starts on Friday morning, which means the weekend long Dallas NARP starts Friday night. I've already said everything that can be said in older blogs, so I am just here to tell you this. If you are planning on going to this, and you are not already on the Google Groups mailer, join it. If you do not join the mailer, and show up at SGC, and dont meet any Dtoiders and hang out with us at night, that is your own fault. So just join the Lobster Milkshaking mailer.

Yep, 2 weeks from this very day is the first day of Screwattack's Dallas-based gaming convention. Now, if you look at your address bar you will notice that this isn't Screwattack.com. BUT, we don't get many things to do down here in the South, so we as the Texas Dtoid community are taking every opportunity, including this one, to get together and hang out. Now I can't say I have all the logistics worked out yet, but we still have 2 weeks left, so this is what I need you to do. If you think there is any remote chance you will be attending SGC, apply for membership in our Google Group which doubles as our mailer, and I will let you in and that will keep you updated on what all is going down.

So, bottom line, if you think there is anyway you will be in Dallas from July 3rd-July 5th to hang out with other Dtoiders, click this and do whatever it tells you to do. See yall soon!

In a spontaneous turn of events, it appears we will be having a small NARP in Houston tonight. There is an arcade in East Houston called Joystix, and every First and last Friday they have free play from 9pm to 2am, for just 15 bucks. There are already going to be 5 of us there, so come meet some fellow Dtoiders! We will start showing up at 9pm, so show up then or any time after and look for the guy with the captains hat playing the TMNT cabinet, that will be Coonskin. Once you find him, it will be all good. I know this is sort of short notice, but its Friday night, and 15 dollars for 5 hours of unlimited retro arcade goodness is a hell of a deal if you ask me! So come on out at 9, the arcade is located at 1820 Franklin Houston, TX, 77002, so shove that into Google Maps or whatever you use to find out where it is. I know you couldn't make it to the anniversary NARP, but I have something that will make it all better. ScrewAttack is having a gaming conference in Dallas on July 3-5, and Destructoid is going to be there! You want to see the Destructoid editors don't you? Sure ya do. I know it's a ways off, but just don't forget, cause I know how forgetful you can be. We can hang out at the conference during the day, and drink beer at night. You like drinking beer don't you?
