Candy Box, guys. Candy Box. Spencer linked this game earlier, and I've been at it non-stop ever since. I'd go into more detail about the game, but that would ruin the surprise in store. All I can do is link you to the game and hope its charm hooks you like it did me.

As for games, we have a few to play tonight! We got Phil with XCOM and Leviathan Warships, and Victor with some Monaco. Also, I'm going to give Mann vs. Machine another go this week, since last week didn't happen due to being in the Steampipe beta.

If you know me, you know I love Super Sentai. And while I love the Official Sentai, there's a show out there that I can relate to more: Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger. This week, we got what I've been waiting for since the show ended. This week Season 2 started. For those of you who are fans of the show, I won't spoil much, but holy crap the first episode was great. Way better than I thought it was going to be. For those of you who haven't seen it, you could probably jump into Season 2 without missing much, since they "recap" things for you in this first episode. I'm really looking forward to seeing how things unfold later in the season!

I'm excited. I got an email the other day notifying me that I've been selected for the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta! I've been looking forward to FFXIV's relaunch ever since they announced it, especially since I was not impressed with the original game. On top of that, I played Final Fantasy XI for years, and with FFXIV being so disappointing, I'm hoping it'll be more successful in doing what made FFXI did well, while updating the mechanics to be more up todate, and maybe surpass, today's MMO standards. Unfortunately, for now, I'm not allowed to give my impressions due to an NDA. But once I'm allowed to say more, you'll most likely hear from me here on the cblogs.

The games tonight, however, are not under NDA! So talk away about them!
