Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I hope these help!
"She stood on the balcony, inexplicably mimicking him hiccuping, and amicably welcoming him in."
read this quote and tell me what you think:
"Just the fact that people seem to be getting dumber and dumber. You know, I mean we have all this amazing technology and yet computers have turned into basically four figure wank machines. The internet was supposed to set us free, democratize us, but all it's really given us is Howard Dean's aborted candidacy and 24 hour a day access to kiddie porn. People... they don't write anymore, they blog. Instead of talking, they text, no punctuation, no grammar: LOL this and LMFAO that. You know, it just seems to me it's just a bunch of stupid people pseudo-communicating with a bunch of other stupid people at a proto-language that resembles more what cavemen used to speak than the King's English.”
-Hank Moody, Californication
You don't have to read it on air, but it's a pretty fucking good one.
Also, blehmen, when we met at Kai's your first words to me where "Man, you're an asshole." but it was in an endearing way. Regardless, I wonder what you think of people's online personalities compared to their real life ones.
PAX was brilliant and I didn't really see much difference between anyone's online persona and who they actually were, is it some strange anomaly that exists within dtoid?
I'd also like to extend an offer for a beer trade with Travis (itemforty), Seattle brew for Texas brew, or any other drunkcast members.
Is handheld gaming TRUE gaming?
How do you feel about this?
