DBZ Burst Limit Review: 50 Words

DBZ:Burst limit doesn't actually play too badly, but between the straight-up broken online mode, lazy reuse of animation between characters, boring and sleepy voice acting, and single play mode bereft of context to the show, its hard to imagine fighting game fans or DBZ fans enjoying this product.

You're warned.

i liked budakia but every game after has been the same thing now just restarting the saga over due to current gen tech. i fncking want SS4 goku and i might pick it up but as it is no way, just more rehashing w/o the hashish.

No excuse for only having up to Cell-era characters. Absolutely none. This game failed when I heard that and even my fighting game fandom can't break that. I have TB2 on Wii and that's all I really need. more characters, fun game. I picked a game of DBZ and ran with it. They tend to be all the same by mere definition anyway.

I played the demo and it looked to be quite fun. Shipero has the game and says it's pretty cool. I'll be picking it up just to roll with the fighting engine that sneaks in some hidden depth should you look for it.

Also, your review is lacking. As is this blog. I don't mind what you're opinion is.. hence why I am here..but when you just throw this out there with no further explanation, not even a blessed picture..nor do you even mention what was broken about online play, what version you're reviewing, you begin to realize this 50 word review equates to fail.

I'm with King. The demo was decent, but it really felt like Budokai to me. Which is pretty sad. I had alot more fun with Sparking / Tenkaichi, I wish they would take steps forward and not back.

The game is good. The online wasn't very broken when me and Snail played. I think this is a sleeper hit for fighting games personally. I never played any of the other Dragonball Z games so maybe I'm just a noob to these and thats why I liked it so much.
