Man yesterday was really rough on me and my mother. At least we really know it's cancer. Anyways I came up with the idea with making a designated post for anyone to post their support for my family. Feel free to send any Esunas, Remedies, World of Warcraft Paladin Cleanses, etc.... Or if you have any have any game or movie recommendations for me that can help through this really rough time I would very much appreciate it. I saw My Neighbor Totoro the first time last night because someone recommended it to me and it really made me feel better. I will try to just edit this one post as much as I can because I would hate to keep making a new post every day saying "I'm sad =( blah blah blah" I know I haven't really been that vocal in the d-toid community but I would like some more love from you guys because I really need it right now. =(

She'll get better. Breast cancer is highly survivable. Try to stay in high spirits for yourself and for her.

As Jesus said (it felt odd to type that!) Breast Cancer is very treatable nowadays. There are many treatment options and the survival rate is much higher than with many other cancers. Try to stay positive!!
(and give your Mom a big hug so she'll stay positive too!)

That's the cool thing about Dtoid, we'll fuck around and lobster milkshake but when push comes to shove we look after our own during their time of need. No matter how vocal you think you are in the community you ARE in the community and everyone is here with you. :)

I'm so sorry to hear this. When my mom was diagnosed with brain cancer we watched her favorite movie: Waking Ned Devine. It's a really good movie, and it's very optimistic.

For yourself, I'd recommend The Iron Giant just because, personally, it's my comfort movie.
