Thought I might do another one for the hell of it. Anyways, Silent Hill has been one of two products to make me stay awake at night for fear of what lurks in the dark (the other being the classic film
Aliens). I learned about this game after seeing an ad. I rented it, not knowing what was to come.

After gathering up enough courage to move beyond this scene, I moved Harry Mason to the Midwich Elementary School, where the frustration began.
I was doing well in my exploration of the forsaken school, enjoying a few scares along the way (the cat in the locker as well as the ghost children). Everything was going smoothly until I reached this puzzle:
At the time, these two statements went through my mind: 1) I play piano, so this should be easy, 2) Oh crap, I suck at poetry/riddles!
I thought the puzzle would be music-related, creating an easy experience for me. However, the keys that were supposed to be touched were ones that made a clicking sound. I knew from that moment I was fucked. My logic skills at the time were crap, making this puzzle much more difficult. I sat on my floor for hours trying to piece together how birds equal piano keys. I spent the rest of my time with the game copying the riddle and the keys from the game, always confused about what the hell to do.
Eventually, the game had to be returned, with no progress made. When I rented SH again, I had to use an online walkthrough to pass this part. Of course, I now know that the color of the birds equals the color of the key. I wasn't very bright then...
