The New Xbox Experience - September 29th

Check your mailboxes boys. A new message from Microsoft went out today at 5 AM regarding the potentially 24 hour long update:

"Xbox LIVE and Xbox.com will be offline on Monday, 9/29/2008 from 12:01 AM PST up to 24 hours. This service maintenance will allow us to bring some exciting new features and functionality to you this holiday through the New Xbox Experience."

It's definitely a good thing that the update is arriving sooner rather than later. I don't know how some people will manage without their Live for a whole day (me included) but it'll be worth it in the end. :]
