I'd just like to let you know that I personally think that this multiplayer emphasis is going to kill artistic gameing.
It's up to younger gamers to demand quality content and not just broadband enabled deathmatches.
You guys are going to fuel the industry.
If you want that go play CoD4 or Halo 3. There are plenty of online games. Quit bitching.
No. I'm not "Too Young" to remember good single player games. I'm not saying I don't like Single Player games. I'm just saying THIS game looks like it would be a hell of a lot more to talk about if you and your buddy could make a stand in the wasteland.
I seriously have been wanting a good RPG to play. Multiplayer adds to the single player aspect of it. It puts more than the "20 hours of gameplay" onto the box for me.
I suppose I need a goddamn "Fave Game" list to make you people shut the fuck up about "you only like multiplayer games"
Yeah, And Super Metroid is one of my all time favourite games.. I only like Multiplayer games.. sure.
Sometimes, I think this place is full of Selective Readers...
How dare you claim that we want to play Fallout as co-op selective readers!
Wait...that's not what you wrote?
So, being serious, no.
In reading sense, he did say co-op, and I can see how that turned off from the game, if what he did see (to him, in his opinion) would look like a lot of fun teaming up with some one else to nuke a city.
Or maybe he's just frightened of the new world in Fallout 3 and needs someone to play with, either way, he didn't mean the usual multiplayer you guys are murdering with a dull axe.
Do not be turned away just because you cannot play with a friend, believe me, the original fallout's are amazing, and fun to play. And I'm sure this one will be as well, I cannot wait to spend hours playing this game. Does that mean I dont like multiplayer? Hell no, I love my mp games. But nothing beats a good sp game, especially when one is intended on individual survival, which fallout has always been about that.
Trust me, just give a crack at it, and who knows like oblivion someone may crack fallout 3 awhile after its release and create a co-op mod for it. You'll be missing out one hell of an experience ;).
As for myself, because it is single player, I will not pay for it, and also because companies that target the retarded virgins (you singleplayer fanboys) as their market, don't deserve the miniscule amount of money that I make in an hour at work.
