Hello, and welcome to my profile. I discovered Destructoid back in 2006 thanks to G4. Since then I never really took the initiative to make an account, despite the great community here, so I figured it was about time. I first got into gaming around the age of 3, when I discovered my aunts Playstation, and couldn't even wrap mt hand around the controller. My first major gaming accomplishment came at around the age of 5 when I somehow managed to beat the original Crash Bandicoot. The first console I truly loved was the Dreamcast, as my fondest younger gaming memories come from Powerstone marathons with my Aunt and her boyfriend. I currently own all 3 "current-gen" gaming consoles, and mostly prefer my 360. As of now I'm playing alot of Modern Warfare 2, Assassins Creed 2, and playing through older game to get all the achievements.

This seemed a fitting first blog post, as I can think of no better way to honor the site. I remember the first time I heard about Destructoid on Attack of The Show, and it seems like that was just yesterday. I only wish I had an account back then, as opposed to lurkin'. This site has the best internet community I've ever had the honor of being a part of (With the exception of Patriot Snake), and I think it's awesome all the love Destructoid shows for it's readers. I know this is pretty short for a blog post, but I just wanted to say Happy Birthday Destructoid!
