Metal Gear Solid 4 can�t really being the last Metal Gear.. can it??

Honestly I really can�t picture it going. I mean love it or hate it, (I noticed it�s either one or the other for 90% of gamers) it�s always been a big part of gaming culture like other legendary games. But Kojima and Payton have been saying it�s the last one for so long now. Even now, I�m sure there are people high up in the industry who don�t believe it. The series is really good but come on let�s not lie it�s a huge money bank.. Would Konami/Kojima productions let this one go for real? Personally I�d hate to see it go (as you can tell from my avatar I really like the game) but if Kojima wants it finished.. I guess it�s going to be finished.

It's most likely not the last game in the series. There's always spin-offs, prequels, etc.

I kinda hope Snake dies even though I think he is one of the better game characters around. I would like to see Kojima creat a new IP or revisit a new one.

I doubt its the last Metal Gear game, though it is probably Kojima's last time as director. I am actually excited to think of Kojima creating a whole new IP. The guy is freakin nuts!

Oh for sure they'll make another Metal Gear game..there was already that half announced game for the PSP that takes place in Snake's "Younger years".. It's just that the Solid series is what really makes metal gear you know? What about a big epic

It wont be just like mgs2 sol and mgs 3 snake eater were not. cause stupid mgs fanboys threatened kojimas life if he were to "end" metal gear. quite frankly i wish he would since i would like a new ip from him and not convoluted story in a mediocre stealth game. the only game i truly enjoyed if you could call it that was metal gear solid for psone played the 2nd and third and absolutely hated them.

Seeing as how it's the lsat....let's make sure Kojima does something like, I unno, kill off SNAKE and thus prevent from his series being bastardized.

Blindsidedork is right, I'm pretty sure they've mentioned that the metal gear universe will continue but this is snakes last mission so start saving up for metal gear acid 3.
