Prize info is near the bottom. Anyone can join whether in the US or abroad!

So Selection Sunday is only a few days away and there will be plenty of pools around for you to test your luck in filling out brackets and taking part in what is known as March Madness.

I will be hosting a bracket group where you can fill out a bracket and after the tournament is over the winner will get a new game of their choosing, and places 2 & 3 will get a $20 steam game or PSN Cash/MS Points.

For those that might not know what I'm talking about here is a brief description....

Every year all the division one schools that competed in college basketball in the US finish out their seasons, receive ranks and are thrown into a knockout tournament to determine who is the National Champion.

On Selection Sunday (March 17th) essentially there are 68 teams that will be entered into the tournament and the bracket is broken up into four regions, each region getting 16 teams seeded 1-16 with 1 obviously being the highest seed. So each #1 seed will play a #16 seed, a 2 vs. 15, 3 vs 14, etc. etc. in each region.

Here is an example of last year's tournament results

Once Selection Sunday happens and we know who is seeded where for the first round, then the fun begins! All you need to do is fill out a bracket guessing which teams are going to advance. You get points for each game you pick correctly with the games deeper in the tournament having a much higher point total. So if you miss a bunch of games in the first round but guess the final four teams correctly, you still have a great shot to win!

Now this might be old news to many of you but i wanted to make sure that its easy to understand for those that are new to this or have never even watched basketball before. And to be honest you dont really need to have any knowledge of the sport whatsoever to have a chance, you can pick your bracket based on which of the mascots would win a fight if you'd like (which I did last year and that bracket did better than any of my other selections). You can pick them however you want, based on ranks, team colors, which schools cheerleaders have more brunettes, or just flip a coin. You'll have a chance to win either way!!

Onto the goodness...

How to Join & Prizes:

I created this tournament group over on CBS Sports and all you need to do to join is Click Here then enter the password.

If you don't have an account with them all you need is an e-mail address and you shouldn't have any problems joining. That's pretty much it, you will only be able to fill out one bracket so make it count!

After the tournament is decided I will be awarding the prizes to the top 3 brackets.

1st Place - New Game of their choosing ($60 game or equal value, I'll take care of shipping and you can choose the console of your choosing)

2nd & 3rd Place - $20 in Steam Games/PSN Cash/MS Points

- These prizes i'm going to be providing from my own pocket so if you do win, work with me. This isn't limited to the US or anything so if you're overseas you'll still get your prizes.

Feel free to join now, but you wont be able to fill out your bracket to enter until after Selection Sunday (3/17).

The best place for you guys to get any updates to the Dtoid.TV group, prizes, or anything related to the group or tournament is on our Twitch Channel where I host my show:
