Los Angeles is Burning (Smokey the Bear Edition!)

It seems like all of LA has been on fire for about a week. Over a BILLION dollars in damage and six people are dead all because nobody listens to Smokey the Bear.

And who would have thought that a washed up ska band could be so right?

This is true. The next thing we know we will be regretting littering and be asking ourselves, "Why didn't we listen to the crying Native American? WHY?!"

I spent 15 minutes looking for the rapping smokey PSA but couldn't find it. I think that one is the funniest of the bunch.

No one ever listened to Smokey and they're not SKA. Punk, foo'. Where you at? And that song is great. One of the only good late Bad Religion songs.

I think BR started as a Ska band back in the 80s but changed their style gradually over time. Go back and listen to 'No Control' versus some of their newer stuff. The more recent albums are more punk than ska while the older albums are more ska than punk.
