So one of the getting started questions is "How did you get into gaming?" I really tried to think of an answer to this and the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I have no idea, lol. I have been gaming for as long as I can remember, some of my favorite memories are of gaming. First systems were an SNES and NES, so I can tell you what games I have the fondest memories of Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros 1, 2 and especially 3 and last but not Legend of Zelda: a Link to the Past. These games really opened me up to the game world, but I have to admit that I didn't become a full blown obsessive addict until what I think is the Holy Grail and Gold Standard of video games The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. OOT was the first game that I ever played that made me late for school assignments, sneak into the din so I could grind through one more temple and made me abandon everything else until Ganon was defeated. From that point on I have been hooked. I would say that I am definitely more of an RPGer and Puzzle solving game lover but I venture into other genres, most recent departure is God of War series....I don't know there is just something about Kratos and his blades of Athena that make me feel like a bad ass. Currently I am on a quest to buy as many games and systems as possible. My most prized possessions are my entire collection of Zelda games (all of which I have beaten) and the cream of the crop is my factory sealed, mint condition, gold cartridge Legend of Zelda for the NES. So that's me in a kind of gaming nutshell. If you are cool and want to hit me up on the internetz, my twitter name is DfenderOfHyrule.
