About Me

I'm a recent Master's graduate from Caltech with a degree in Chemistry. I'm currently living in Pasadena, CA, with a degree I don't want to use, trying to break into the game industry. I've been reading Destructoid since June of 2006. I'm a huge Nintendo fanboy, though I spend most of my gaming time on the 360 these days. I've got far too many posts on the forum.

I play all types of games except realistic sports games and real-time strategy games. The former because I think they're boring and the latter because I utterly suck at them.

Hey guys. We're halfway through the week, which means tomorrow is ThurDSay. Last week, Aerox and I played some Tetris DS, and despite some minor frustrations (you can do two player or four player but not three player? Huh?), we had some good times. However, I had to cut it short because my girlfriend was in town and we had made plans to go out to dinner. That will not be the case this week. I am fully prepared to host and play DS for hours and hours with fellow Destructoiders tomorrow night. But that brings up the question: what shall we play? Somebody last week suggested Metroid Prime: Hunters. To be honest, I had forgotten that this game even had online functionality. I'm not opposed to playing it, but I feel like I should put out a disclaimer in case we do: I really suck at it. Maybe more people will play now that I put that out there. I'll be like a sideshow. Come here to kick the crap out of Dexter345. But I digress. There are a number of other DS games we could play, if nobody wants to go with Metroid Prime: Hunters. We still haven't hit up Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, Pokémon Diamond/Pearl, or Clubhouse Games, and if people want to go back and get some Mario Kart DS or Tetris DS in, I'd be up for that as well.
