About Me

I'm a recent Master's graduate from Caltech with a degree in Chemistry. I'm currently living in Pasadena, CA, with a degree I don't want to use, trying to break into the game industry. I've been reading Destructoid since June of 2006. I'm a huge Nintendo fanboy, though I spend most of my gaming time on the 360 these days. I've got far too many posts on the forum.

I play all types of games except realistic sports games and real-time strategy games. The former because I think they're boring and the latter because I utterly suck at them.

Another week, another ThurDSay. Thanks again to vexed_alex for taking care of my hosting duties last week. I haven't heard about how the Pokémon battles went, but I'm going to assert that had I been around, I would have won every match. Without losing any Pokémon. Blindfolded. Anyway, I'm back, and again I'm having somebody help me with hosting duties. This time, it's not because I won't be doing it; it's because we're playing two games this week. Tonight I'll be hosting Metroid Prime: Hunters, and Styos will be hosting Worms: Open Warfare 2. So, join Styos and me in IRC at 7:00 PM Pacific (that's in about two hours, assuming you're reading this just as I'm posting it), and join in on the DS Wi-Fi fun. Next time I get paid (i.e. next month), I'm planning on plunking down some money for some of the more requested games for ThurDSay, and so maybe next time Worms comes up, I'll join in. In addition to that one, I'm also planning on getting Planet Puzzle League and Bomberman Land Touch. Are there any others I should grab so we can play together? Let me know in the comments.
