Super duper short post for this today, because I am literally about to pack up my computer, head home, grab my backpack, and then go to the airport. Indeed, I will not be able to attend this week's ThurDSay, where people will be playing Pokémon Diamond/Pearl, because I will be on a plane.

In the meantime, keep an eye on vexed_alex's blog for updates on where and when you'll be meeting. I assume it's IRC, and I believe they might already be playing as of right now. Go on. Show the people your Pokemanz.

I'm a graduate student in Chemistry at Caltech. I've been reading Destructoid since June of 2006. I'm a huge Nintendo fanboy. I've got far too many posts on the forum.

I play all types of games except realistic sports games and real-time strategy games. The former because I think they're boring and the latter because I utterly suck at them.

Currently, I've got a lot on my plate. I'm still finishing up Super Mario Galaxy, I have to get some of the harder Achievements on the Orange Box (and I take some time to play Team Fortress 2 because it's amazing, even though I've got all of the Achievements there), I've finished Call of Duty 4 on Veteran (Mile High Club included), but I still play a ton online, I'm working on Contra 4 on Hard, I'm perpetually playing Rock Band with my band the Bee Suit Boyz, and I recently got skate. so I play that when I don't feel like playing shooters.

That is not to mention that I own and have not yet played the following: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Eye of Judgment, No More Heroes, Culdcept Saga, Apollo Justice, Okami, God of War. I crave the barren summer months, where I can play all of my old games without having to worry about the next big thing.

I recently bought a 60 GB PS3, meaning I now have all of the current gen systems except for a PSP. I'm looking forward to getting one, but I won't for at least a little while, because I have been spending too much money on games lately.
